Abstract Research shows that parents with a history of child abuse are at risk perpetuating the cycle abuse; however, exploration intervention content is still neglected area. This qualitative study identifies components and corresponding mechanisms change parenting interventions to prevent intergenerational abuse. Interviews ten heads from UK USA were coded using deductive framework analysis. The Behaviour Change Technique (BCT) Taxonomy Wheel used code including BCTs functions.
